Today I am thankful for my mom's group that meets on Monday nights. I have come to love these girls so much and really look to them for godly wisdom and advice on mothering. Some of us have only 1 kid, a couple have 2, and a couple have 3. It's just so nice to know that other moms go through the same things you do and their kids have the same meltdowns and your not alone. We all come from different backgrounds and some of knew each other before we started meeting and some of us just met. We always end staying at least 3 hours and we don't meet until 8 or after. (I think I've even seen the a.m. once or twice:-)) We laugh, cry, pray,... I recommend this therapy it to all moms!!
Today was pretty uneventful. Finley had Mother's day out which she loves and I got to have a mother's day out which I love. We had a nice night at home and were very entertained by "finley the entertainer". I know everyone feels like this about their kid but we think she is the funniest/silliest girl we have ever been around. I made homemade BBQ chicken pizza and Finley kept wanting us to pray throughout the meal. Her new thing at dinner is she loves to hold out her hands to us and say "pray" and we feel bad if we don't.... so there we go again. Finally I told her that only one prayer was required at dinner and she seemed to drop it after that.(maybe she could just sense my "tone" :-) I absolutely love this age where you feel they can actually understand you and pick up on things- it is my favorite so far.
Here are some pictures of her being silly tonight:
How old does she look??? (excuse the BBQ pizza on her face)
She wanted all 6 bows in her hair at once... so that is what we did

Dancing with pigtails

I really hope the coke bottles don't hurt her eyes?!?!?
